More about me...
I have been involved with Netball as a player and a coach for over 30 years. I bring experience, enthusiasm, structure, creativity and an appetite for success. My aim is to engage with participants by using a fun and unique approach, whatever their age, ability or individual motivation. I love to build confidence and empower players to realise their full potential to play the beautiful game of Netball.
I have been playing netball at various levels since I was 7 with the pinnacle of my career coming when I represented England, on behalf of the Indoor Netball Association (INA) playing England NETS, in the 3 week World Series against Australia, New Zealand and South Africa, travelling to Cairns, Brisbane and Sydney.
My coaching career started in 2003 when I completed my Level One Netball Coaching course. I have coached at various levels from High School to Elite and Netball Super League Youth Camps.
I've been incredibly lucky to work at the following places; Rivers Multi Academy Trust, King Edwards Sport Partnership Birmingham (the 18 inner city schools) and Severn Stars Future Stars.
I spent most of my professional career dealing with a large portfolio of clients for an accountancy practice in Birmingham City Centre. Netball is my passion along with being at home in North Devon with my two beautiful girls, hubbie, and fury kids! Along with going on holibobs and eating curry, I love curry!!! I couldn't be happier than when I'm helping my students progress both physically and mentally.
