TESTIMONIALS

Here are a few words from parents, teachers and fellow coaches.

"...improvement in her personal confidence"

Since Sam began coaching my daughter I have seen not only an improvement in her playing skills but in her personal confidence.

Not one to "beat around the bush" Sam has sometimes told her things she doesn't always want to hear but in turn once accepted and taken on board she has embraced the changes necessary and moved on and improved.

Successful coaching for me is about bringing out the best in someone to whatever their ability and ensuring that they enjoy and have fun on the way, something which Sam has definitely achieved for us.

"...an excellent extra-curricular opportunity"

Sam at Net Set Go Coaching provides our school with an excellent extra-curricular opportunity for our boys and girls.

The Multi-Skills and Netball Clubs that are held weekly at school are loved by the children for being fun and active.

We welcome Sam to provide these on an ongoing basis as well as hopefully during our School holidays.

"...friendly and caring approach"

"Sam's charismatic, friendly and caring approach to the children's multi skills class is top class.

They are learning important skills in a fun and safe environment and the children's sense of achievement at the end of each lesson is invaluable.

To sum up Sam's lessons in one word... Superb.

"...an environment that is nurturing"

Samantha was a fantastic addition to the coaching team at our Future Stars Netball Camps. Sam did a great job of leading a group of U12s through team building, ball skills, attacking and movement development, defensive skills as well as modified
match play.

She was able to ensure that the group enjoyed themselves, while at the same time learnt new skills and developed their tactical understanding. Sam used a variety of motivational techniques and ensured that all players were engaged throughout the session by using active questioning and modifying practices and drills to suit the ability level of the individuals playing.

Sam’s coaching creates an environment that is nurturing and always demonstrates that she is keen to share her passion of netball with all players.

"We are very lucky to have Sam..."

Sam has been coaching within Ryland Netball Club for two years. During this time the girls Sam has coached have gained confidence in their skills and match play.

Sam has dedicated herself to ensuring her girls are match focussed and driven to be the best they can be. Her passion for netball met with her mass experience of the game has been an asset to the club.

She is always smiling, giving feedback and encouraging the girls. Sam is approachable, fair and has a positive aura about her. We are very lucky to have Sam at Ryland.
